Paws Mission has a no-kill policy and aims to reduce the stray animal population and improve animal welfare in Malaysia through the following objectives:
The group started out by feeding the stray dogs which roamed outside the Chap Fook Tong Temple, located at 3 ½ mile off Old Klang Road. The temple caretakers then offered the use of the land behind the temple to build a shelter for the dogs and helped to build the shelter at minimal costs, giving Paws Mission a base to shelter rescued dogs.
Our efforts in rehoming programs have reached out to many people and also volunteers who wish to contribute to work at the shelter. To date, the shelter houses about 150 dogs and has held over 15 adoption drives in various venues including major shopping malls such as IOI Mall, Puchong, and Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, and has successfully rehomed over 250 dogs.

He’s your friend
He’s your partner
He’s your defender
He’s your dog
You’re his life
You’re his love
You’re his leader
He will be yours, faithful and true,
to the last beat of his heart
~You owe him to be worthy of such devotion ~

From the 6 pups rescued by our fellow rescuer Michelle prior to the Happy Garden Adoption Drive, Joey is the only one is still looking for home. So please, if you’re interested in getting a pup, why not choose to adopt her instead?
